I was so excited in December to see Joy and Eric announce that Jax was gonna be a big brother, because Baby Boy #2 was on the way! Lincoln was due July 4th and the wait was on. We originally planned for me to capture Joys VBAC (which she ROCKED by the way), but COVID had other plans. Not to worry! We would do maternity pictures instead, right? Wrong ðŸ˜‚ Baby Lincoln the over-achiever here could not wait to meet his beautiful mama, and she wound up giving birth before I even made it to Florida! Newborn portraits were the new plan, and when the day
came, I almost couldn't believe it.
I had this grey color down as a neutral but I figured I'd let Joy choose another color for Lincs portraits and my oh my did she pick my favorite; Hunter Green.
Though he wasn't tired enough to sleep, he sure was tired enough to give me all the biggest, little yawns you ever did see.
After a little bit of fussing, boobies and bounces, this handsome little man was out like a light! I have a theory about most breastfed babies preferring their belly. I feel like it has to do with the pressure they feel while they eat and suckle for comfort, but I've got to tell you, seems to be the sweet spot!
