Oh, how I love this family so. A family that started as maternity clients, turned birth, then newborn, cake smash, theeeeeeen baby number two was made. With every milestone we grew closer and closer and I couldn't be more thankful for the relationship we've built over the last 3 years. Our last session together was when Erin was pregnant with baby Oakleigh right before they moved, too long ago. When she gave birth in October 2019, I made plans with her amazing partner, Alex, to from from El Paso to Ohio but life got in the way. It wasn't until September 2020 that I finally got to meet her sweet face when this amazing family drove with their two littles all the way from OH.
While they were here we did TWO cake smashes for Oakie ( I'll make a separate blog for those, cause holy freaking adorable ) and a family session. We also did an impromptu session in my backyard but the girls weren't really having it.
Typically this family always gives me free range to do what ever my creative heart desires, however Alex did have one request that involved his cowboy boots, a tropical tee and a coconut that either came from the palm tree in my front yard or we found on the beach ( I can't remember anymore 😂). Bless his country boy at the beach heart! Rae and Oakie took turns deciding whether or not they wanted to participate. But that pout Rae strutted is so damn cute, I'm not even mad.
I'm thrilled that I got to spend time with these four and I can't wait to see them in June!
